Uniquely capped in engraved 9K gold, this simplistic carved long natural green jade pendant charm sways from a fine chain and is the epitome of a love token. Called Pounamu in New Zealand, the nephrite jade has a rich deep coloring showing natural inclusions with the gold cap hand engraved with a different design on the back and front. Jade is an ancient stone that has historically been used to attract love. A wonderful sentiment and a stunning piece of antique jewelry. Circa 1910s. The pendant is in good condition with no noted nicks or chips to the jade.
